How to Use Alcolin Contractors Floor Screed:

Surface Preparation:

1. Clean and Prime: Ensure the surface is sound, clean, and free from dust, grease, or other contaminants. Prime porous surfaces with Alcolin Permo-Key Slurry Kit.
2. Mixing: Mix 20kg of Alcolin Contractors Floor Screed with approximately 4L of clean water or 4.4L of Alcolin Latex Bond for enhanced properties. Stir to a smooth consistency.

Application Instructions:

1. Pour and Spread: Pour the mix onto the surface and spread using a plasterer’s trowel to the desired thickness (3-6mm).
2. Level and Finish: The screed is self-smoothing, but a spiked roller can be used to remove any air bubbles and ensure a smooth finish.

For optimal results ensure that suitable damp-proof membranes are in place to prevent rising damp, and protect freshly laid screed from rapid drying conditions such as direct sunlight or heat sources.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Clean tools with water while the product is still wet. Allow unused screed to dry before disposal.
