How to Use Alcolin Easy-Tiler Ready-To-Use Ceramic Tile Adhesive:

Surface Preparation:

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of loose materials, dust, grease, and moisture.
2. At least one of the surfaces should be absorbent, such as the back of the tile or the substrate.
3. For specific surface treatments and priming instructions, refer to the product guidelines.

Application:

1. Apply a 3mm bed of adhesive to the substrate using a 6mm x 6mm x 6mm notched trowel.
2. Use a twisting action to bed tiles firmly into the wet adhesive before surface drying occurs.
3. Occasionally lift a tile to check for full contact between the tile and adhesive.
4. For heavily lugged, grooved, or dovetailed tiles, butter the tiles with adhesive before setting.

Grouting:

1. Allow a minimum of 24 hours before grouting and 48 hours on primed or sealed surfaces.
2. Ensure joints are free of adhesive residue and foreign matter before applying grout.

Storage:

Alcolin Easy-Tiler should be stored in an airtight container at room temperature. In addition, the product has a shelf life of approximately 12 months when stored in its original sealed moisture-tight container.
