Alcolin Epoxy Putty is Easy to Use
The epoxy putty is easy to use, as it is mixed by hand. As you blend the two contrasting colours, they merge into a single colour, indicating complete mixing. This user-friendly feature ensures that you achieve the optimal consistency for your repair or moulding needs. Its putty-like consistency eliminates drips and runs, allowing you to achieve precise adhesion and shape the material as required before it begins to cure.
Alcolin Epoxy Putty is Super Versatile
Once cured, the epoxy putty sets to a grey colour that closely matches many metals. This seamless finish enhances the overall appearance of your repair or project. It offers superior bonding strength, creating a durable and reliable bond that can withstand various stresses. You can drill, saw, sand, carve, stain, or paint the hardened putty, giving you the flexibility to achieve the desired final result.
Hand-Mouldable
When working on intricate moulding tasks, the epoxy putty provides generous work time, ensuring you have enough flexibility to shape and refine your project. If you need to smooth or further shape the putty, you can easily do so with a wet finger, allowing for precise adjustments and fine-tuning.
High-Performance Fixing
The epoxy putty is designed for ease of use, allowing even beginners to achieve professional-level results. With 100% solid content, it doesn’t shrink or pull away, providing a reliable and long-lasting bond. It is also resistant to chemicals, adding to its durability and versatility. With a heat resistance of up to 149°C, it can withstand high temperatures, making it suitable for both interior and exterior use.
Please note:
However, it’s important to note that the epoxy putty is not suitable for applications requiring a flexible bond. It does not bond to polyethylene, polypropylene, or Teflon surfaces, so it’s essential to choose the appropriate materials for your project. Additionally, it’s not recommended for surfaces that release oil, plasticizers, or solvents, as it may not provide the desired adhesion. While it offers excellent performance for a variety of repairs and projects, it is not intended for structural application.
