Berger-Master Plaster Primer Water Based 20L | White

Berger-Master Plaster Primer is an economical, general-purpose primer suitable for both interior and exterior use. Moreover, it is designed to prime all types of masonry surfaces, including cement plaster, concrete, fibre cement, gypsum plaster, unglazed bricks, and composite boarding. In addition, this water-based primer provides excellent substrate adhesion and seals porous plaster, ensuring a sound surface for top coating.

How to Use Berger-Master Plaster Primer

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of loose particles. Do not apply on powdery or friable surfaces.
2. Mixing: Stir the primer until homogeneous with a flat paddle before use.
3. Application:
   • Brush, Roller, or Spray: Apply the primer using your preferred method.
   • Coverage: 6m² – 8m² per liter.
   • Thinning: If required, thin with water for spraying only, not exceeding 5 – 10% of the product volume.
4. Drying and Recoating: Allow the primer to touch dry for 1 hour at 23ºC. Recoat after 4 hours if necessary.
5. Cleanup: Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with water.

Health and Safety

Ensure adequate ventilation during application. Avoid inhalation of spray mist or sanding dust. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Not suitable for application on metal surfaces or non-porous substrates. Overcoat within 48 hours to prevent sanding before topcoating. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
