Steps to Follow for Using the Bostik Marine Silicone Sealant
Preparation:
Clean and dry surfaces thoroughly
Degrease with acetone or suitable solvent (avoid alcohol-based cleaners)
Abrade plastics lightly if needed
Use masking tape to define sealant lines
How to Use the Bostik Marine Silicone Sealant:
Cut nozzle tip at an angle and apply in a continuous bead using a caulking gun
Press surfaces together or smooth the bead within 3–5 minutes
Remove masking tape before skin formation
Tack-free in ~25 minutes; full cure in 24 hours
Cleanup:
