The non-sag rheology of this adhesive allows for easy application on vertical surfaces, providing convenience and flexibility during installation. It exhibits superior adhesion to a wide range of non-porous materials such as:

• rubber (some types)
• metals (including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, tin, galvanized iron, brass, and zinc),

Important to note:

Please note that Bostik Mirror Silicone may become discoloured when in contact with certain organic elastomers that release oil or solvents into the adhesive. Therefore, it is not suitable for contact with natural stone surfaces such as marble, granite, and quartzite, as it may cause discolouration.

Additionally, it will not adhere to certain plastics like polyethylene, polypropylene, and Teflon. It is important to avoid applying the sealant when the relative humidity is below 10%, as it may affect the cure rate.

It is important to note that Bostik Mirror Silicone is not suitable for use in fish tanks, as it contains a fungicide. Furthermore, it is not paintable, so it should be used in applications where paintability is not required.
