Steps to Follow for Using the Sealant
Preparation:
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease or dust
- Use acetone or suitable solvents for degreasing metal or glass
- Apply masking tape to achieve clean, straight seal lines
How to Apply the Sealant:
- Cut cartridge nozzle to desired bead width and apply using a sealant gun
- Smooth the bead within 10–15 minutes of application
- Remove masking tape before skin formation begins
Cleanup:
- Wipe excess sealant immediately with a suitable solvent
- Allow full curing before applying paint
- Store unopened cartridge in a dry, cool location
