Steps to follow for applying the Duram Self-Adhesive Aluminium Dura Tape
Preparation
- Clean surfaces thoroughly, removing dirt, rust, grease, algae, fungi, and loose paint.
- Fill deep hollows and cracks greater than 3mm.
- Prime porous or rough surfaces with bituminous primer and allow to dry.

- Unroll and cut tape to required length, ensuring 25mm overlap.
- Peel backing strip and press adhesive side firmly onto substrate.
- Smooth down with cloth, roller, or fingertip pressure to remove air pockets.
- Press edges firmly to ensure tight seal.
- Do not remove aluminium foil face.

- Skin: Soap and water.
- Equipment: Mineral turpentine.
