Product Uses:

• For interior and exterior use.
• Improves intercoat adhesion between a primer and topcoat.
• Optimum intercoat adhesion between an oiland water-based topcoat.
• Offers excellent adhesion to gloss enamel paints.
• A versatile undercoat for primed or previously painted surfaces

Application:

• Ensure the appropriate Duram primer or undercoat has been used.
• Stir Duram Universal Undercoat well using a flat paddle.
• Thinning is not recommended.
• Apply one coat with a brush roller using long, smooth strokes. For airless spray use nozzle sizes
  between 17 and 21 thou.
• Highly porous surfaces require a second coat.
• Drying time between coats: 6 – 8 hours. Plus 6 hours for highly porous surfaces or in cold, wet
  weather. Sand lightly between coats.
• Ensure complete obliteration is achieved.
• Sand lightly to give a smooth finish and topcoat within 2 – 3 days to avoid poor adhesion of the
  topcoat.
