Steps to Follow for Applying Flash Harry Liquid Plastic

Preparation:

  1. Ensure surface is clean, dry, and free of debris
  2. Prime surface based on material type:
    • Galvanized Iron: Use acid degreasing primer or Frogskin Cleaner
    • Rusted Surfaces: Brush down and apply rust converter
    • Porous Surfaces: Prime with Plaster Pal or 50% diluted Liquid Plastic

How to Apply the Flash Harry Liquid Plastic

  • Waterproofing:
    1. Use with waterproofing membrane
    2. Saturate membrane thoroughly—pre-soaking is recommended
  • Coating:
    1. Apply minimum two coats
    2. Alternate coat directions at right angles
    3. Allow 30 minutes drying time between coats
