How to best use:

1. Start with proper surface preparation. Remove all previous treatments and sand the wood to a raw, penetrable state.
2. Ensure the wood surfaces are clean, dry, and smooth. Sand new wood to a smooth finish.
3. For previously varnished/oiled wood, remove the old coat by sanding to raw wood or using a paint stripper.
4. If the wood was previously treated with Everwood, wipe it down to remove dust and dirt, and if needed, rub it down for a smooth finish.
5. Application methods include a paintbrush, sponge brush, roller, or spray gun. Apply three thin, even coats for the best results, allowing 45 minutes between coats and 24 hours for the applied coat to cure completely.
6. Clean the GripSeal applicators with clean water directly after application.
7. For maintenance, apply a maintenance coat every 12-24 months or when the wood appears faded, depending on the degree of exposure.
