Simple application process

Applying Supreme Floor Paint Stoep Enamel in dark sea grey is a breeze. Furthermore, you can paint it directly onto bare concrete after cleaning. For previously painted concrete, please ensure no loose or flaking paint is present after cleaning. For application on stone surfaces depending on stone porosity, you may require bonding liquid. Follow these steps for optimal results:

• Firstly, prepare the surface by thoroughly cleaning it. Remove any dirt, debris, or previous coatings that may hinder adhesion. We recommend using sugar soap to clean or prepare the surface for painting. Porous stone application may require a bonding liquid.
• Secondly, mask off the area you wish to paint with masking tape to ensure only the areas you wish to cover are painted – resulting in tidy work.
• Thirdly, ensure that your working area is properly ventilated and all safety precautions are met. Adequate ventilation is crucial for maintaining a healthy working environment. Ensure your safety by avoiding direct contact between the paint and your skin. Ingesting the paint should also be strictly avoided.
• Fourthly, apply the floor paint/stoep enamel with an appropriate paint roller (for large surface areas) such as Hamilton’s Polypile Paint Roller or Hamilton’s Mohair Paint Roller with even roller strokes for an evenly coated finish. For smaller surface areas, use a brush like a Hamilton’s Utility Brush. Allow to dry for 8 – 12 hours.
• Finally, immediately clean your equipment after completing the paint application. Use mineral turpentine or enamel thinners to clean your equipment.
