Installation instructions:

1. Using the template on the packaging, mark the mounting holes on your ceiling. The fan must be mounted:

a. At least 90cm away from any hot plate and have at least 50cm clear space above the fan blades.

b. Ensure flex will not foul the fan blades

c. Ensure your ceiling installation does not obstruct airflow.

d. If ducting is required it should be larger than the diameter of the fan blade. Ducting running longer than 1m will affect the fan’s performance.

2. Check for hidden timbers and wiring above the hole area. Cut the hole with a jigsaw, keyhole saw or hacksaw along the marked line.

3. Remove the grill by pulling it free from the frame and connecting the plug to the power outlet. Insert fan assembly into the opening. If the ceiling material is 10mm thick or less see note 3a. For thicker ceilings see note 3b.
a. Push the three bar clamps out all the way to hold the fan in the ceiling. Tighten the screws to secure it in place.
b. Remove 3 bar clamps, use wood screws (Not supplied) to secure the assembly to the ceiling. Locate screws in the 3 holes on the outlet lip of the black frame.
4. Place grill over fan assembly and push up until it snaps into place.
5. Electrical wiring must be carried out by a licensed electrician.

Cleaning instructions

Clean when dirty or clogged. Dirty fan blades and clogged grills can drastically reduce the fans’ working life. Regular cleaning will ensure many years of useful service.

• Grill – Remove and wash in warm soapy water before rinsing. Cloudy ammonia and a bottle brush are recommended for stubborn grease.
• Fan blades – Wipe the blade with a moistened cloth, using soap if necessary. Never immerse the motor in cleaning solution or any other liquid.
