Steps to Follow For Using the HABiTAT Wooden Retro Calendar

Preparation

First, select a flat, stable surface where the calendar will remain visible. Next, wipe the wood gently with a dry cloth to remove any dust that could hinder smooth sliding. Then, ensure the day and month blocks are set to the current date before displaying the piece.

How to Use the HABiTAT Wooden Retro Calendar

Begin by lifting the small day block and aligning it with the correct numeral. Subsequently, slide the month block into place, matching today’s month. After each day passes, simply slide the day block forward one position; at month‑end, adjust the month block accordingly. Because the mechanism is low‑friction, the process takes only seconds, allowing you to stay organized without interruption.

Cleanup

• Dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth after each use.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
• Store the calendar away from direct sunlight for prolonged colour retention.

Health and Safety

When handling the wooden calendar, it is advisable to wash your hands before and after use to maintain a clean surface. Additionally, avoid placing the piece near open flames or extreme heat, as prolonged exposure could affect the wood’s integrity. If the calendar is dropped, inspect the sliding blocks for any deformation before resuming use. Moreover, keep the calendar out of reach of small children who might attempt to dismantle the moving parts. Finally, store the calendar in a dry environment to prevent moisture‑related warping.
