Steps to Follow For Applying the Woodoc 5 Interior Sealer

Preparation

1. General: Ensure wood is clean, dry, and smooth. Never wash/wipe wood with water before application.
2. New Wood: Sand until smooth, remove dust with a clean, dry cloth, then wipe with mineral turpentine.
3. Previously Varnished Wood: Remove varnish by sanding or using a paint stripper. Neutralize the paint stripper, allow wood to dry, sand until smooth, remove dust with a clean, dry cloth, then wipe with mineral turpentine.
4. Oiled Wood: Sand until smooth, scrub well with SteelWool and mineral turpentine, clean off residue with a clean, dry cloth, and allow the surface to dry.
5. Previously Treated Wood: Scrub well with SteelWool and mineral turpentine, clean off residue with a clean, dry cloth, and allow the surface to dry.

How to Apply the Woodoc 5 Interior Sealer

1. Stir well before and during application. Do not shake or dilute the product.
2. Apply with a good-quality brush. Apply the first coat until the surface remains evenly glossy for at least 10 minutes.
3. Apply more product to dull/dry areas and allow the coat to dry completely.
4. Sand lightly with SteelWool, remove dust with a clean, dry cloth, then wipe with mineral turpentine.
5. Apply two more coats in the same way. When the third coat is dry, rub down the surface with SteelWool and Woodoc Deep Penetrating Furniture Wax.

Cleanup

• Always apply a minimum of three coats.
• Store the product in a dry, covered area at temperatures between 10°C and 30°C.
• Avoid large changes in temperature and humidity in the storage environment.
