Steps to Follow For Using the Altezee General Purpose Masking Tape

Preparation

First, clean the surface to eliminate dust, grease or loose particles; a tidy substrate ensures optimal adhesion. Next, dry the area completely, because moisture can weaken the tape’s grip. Finally, measure the length you need and cut the tape to size, keeping the edge straight for a uniform application.

How to Apply the Altezee General Purpose Masking Tape

Begin by positioning the tape along the edge you wish to protect, pressing firmly with your fingertips to secure the adhesive. Then, run a smooth roller or a flat tool along the tape to eliminate air bubbles and guarantee full contact. After the tape is firmly set, proceed with painting or staining. Once the coating is dry, peel the tape back on itself at a 45° angle to avoid lifting fresh paint.

Cleanup

• Remove any remaining bits of tape while the adhesive is still tacky
• Dispose of waste according to local regulations
• Store any leftover roll in a cool, dry place, sealed tightly
