Applications:

Hybriflex-540 is developed for sealing construction and dilatation joints in pedestrian walkways and other building applications. It adheres to a wide range of materials, including concrete, brickwork, painted wood, aluminium, stainless steel, and various plastics.

Limitations:

• Not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene, and bituminous substrates.
• Not recommended for glazing joints, natural stone, mirrors, or pool environments (chloride exposure).

Surface Preparations and Finishing:

• Application Temperature: +5°C to +40°C.
• Ensure all substrates are solid, clean, dry, and free of grease or dust before applying the sealant. For porous surfaces, use Universal Primer. Test adhesion before application.

Paintability:

Hybriflex-540 is paintable with water-based and most two-component paints. Synthetic paints may take longer to dry. It is recommended to lightly sand the sealant and adjacent surfaces before painting. For best results, paint within a few days of application.

Cleaning:

• Uncured Material: Clean tools and surfaces with Polyurethane Cleaner.
• Cured Material: Remove mechanically.
