Steps to Follow For Using the HABiTAT Candle Sand Wax

Preparation

First, select a heat-safe container such as glass, metal or ceramic. Clean the interior thoroughly to remove dust or residues, then dry completely. If desired, place a wick holder at the centre of the container to keep the wick upright.

How to Use the HABiTAT Candle Sand Wax

Next, pour the sand-type wax directly into the container until it reaches the desired level. Insert a pre-wicked or separate wick, ensuring it stands straight. Light the wick and allow the flame to melt the surrounding wax gradually; no additional heating is required. For layered designs, let the first layer set partially before adding a new colour or scent.

Cleanup

Remove any excess granules with a soft brush while the wax is still solid

Store remaining wax in a sealed container to keep it dry

Dispose of packaging responsibly according to local recycling guidelines

Health and Safety

When working with the sand wax, ensure the area is well-ventilated to disperse any faint aroma released during the first melt. Wear protective gloves if you have sensitive skin, and keep the wax away from open flames until you are ready to light the candle. In case of accidental skin contact, rinse the area with cool water and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and pets. Always follow the manufacturer’s safety data sheet for complete handling instructions.
