Preparation:
- Clean and dry the surface thoroughly
- Use a wire brush to remove grime or flaking materials
- For glossy or painted surfaces, lightly sand if required—follow all safety precautions
How to Apply the Coating Rust-Oleum Leak Seal Rubber Coating
- Shake can vigorously for at least one minute after mixing ball rattles
- Hold 20–30 cm from surface and apply the first coat lightly
- Allow to dry for 15–30 minutes before applying a second, heavier coat
- Overlap passes by 2.5 cm and do not exceed three heavy coats
Cleanup & Storage:
- Wipe excess spray or overspray promptly
- Store can upright in a cool, dry area
- Allow 24 hours for full curing before exposing to water
