Steps to Follow For Applying the Woodoc 25 Water Borne Floor Sealer

Preparation

1. General: Ensure wood is clean, dry, and smooth. Never wash or wipe wood with water or solvent before application. Take particular care to remove dust from spaces between boards.
2. New Wood: Sand until bare and smooth. Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner.
3. Previously Varnished/Sealed/Oiled/Waxed Wood: Sand until bare and smooth, starting with coarse grit sandpaper and ending with fine grit. Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner. The use of paint strippers is not recommended.
4. Wood Previously Treated with This Product: Sand lightly to key the surface and ensure proper binding between old and new layers. Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner.

How to Apply the Woodoc 25 Water Borne Floor Sealer

1. Stir well before and during application to ensure contents are well mixed. Do not shake or dilute the product.
2. Apply with a good-quality brush. Apply the first coat until the surface remains evenly glossy for at least 10 minutes.
3. Apply more product to dull/dry areas and allow the coat to dry completely.
4. Sand lightly with very fine sandpaper, remove dust with a vacuum cleaner, then apply two more coats in the same way. Do not sand after the third coat.

Cleanup

• Always apply a minimum of three coats.
• Light traffic can resume 24 hours after the third coat has dried.
• The floor can be fully utilized after a week.
• Warning: The floor surface can be slippery after sealing with this product.
